Hi, my name is Nicky and I have always loved animals especially dogs. I have grown up with
various animals and still enjoy caring and living with different pets today. Luckily my husband
and son, equally share my passion for animals.
Our own dog Lara loves everything and everybody. She is a very obedient (most of the time!),
sweet and loving girl. Lara loves playing ball with my son and his friends. Lara was one of
the puppies we socialised but unfortunately was too sensitive to make it as Hearing Dog,
so we adopted her. Apart from our pampered pooches we have 2 chickens
We understand that you as a dog owner need to know that your four legged family member
is in good hands. I do not have any veterinary qualifications but I have my own experiences
through being a dog owner and my love for animals. I have done volunteer work for several
years with Hearing Dog for Deaf people, in the form of a puppy socialiser which has involved
caring, training and socialising young puppies and older dogs. I also have a
diploma in canine behaviour and psychology.
I am hoping to expand my qualifications in dog behaviour,
care and training in the near future.
